Across the border in the Hodmedod

With the prospect of a four day weekend coming up, we thought that it would provide another opportunity for a trip with the mobile chicane, aka The Hodmedod. Neither of us had been to Blickling Hall before, so a CL site nearby was booked for a couple of nights. This, of course, meant venturing over the border into Norfolk. On the map, it merely says, "Here be Dragons". However, we decided to risk it.

The site was on a farm not far from Aylsham and was very pleasant. We arrived just after lunch on Friday and set up. Then we bummed about a bit for the afternoon. On Saturday, we headed off to Blickling Hall. If you want historic detail, you will have to read Mrs B's blog. I am just going to post photographs.

Update - The mysterious dickbod is an Egyptian Goose. Wikiliar claims that they were introduced to Britain in 1979 and were declared a pest in 2009.
