Having "ummed" and "ahhed" all morning, the bears finally decided that they could be arsed to go out for the afternoon. They went to Snape Maltings. This old building was converted into a concert hall some years ago and the surrounding buildings house a collection of galleries, shops and cafes.

There was a very big crowd around where the filming was going on. If you look closely, you can see the backs of the Hairy Bikers heads.
The bears went off and did some other stuff.
They saw lots of expensive kitchen utensils. The Small Bear had to be physically restrained as she likes shiny kitchen stuff.
They went to see some of the sculptures that were in the grounds.

Then they went back to see what was happening at the filming. It was all finished and the crowds had dwindled.

ReplyDeleteAutographs could be available at very reasonable rates. The small bear signature (X)is the more expensive of the two as she actually got to stand next to one of their bikes.
Do you ever go to any of the concerts? I'm currently studying the Aldeburgh Festival programme and wondering how much I can bear* to be educated.

Oh, my aching sides! We did talk about going to a concert. Neither of us have been to one. A bit of culture is called for, methinks.
